Boxer Sarita Devi wrote a letter to AIBA. She said “I sincerely apologize to AIBA for my conduct during the medal ceremony of the Incheon Asian Games”. she lost to South Korea’s Park Jina in the semifinals in the Asian Games. Sarita’s participation in the World Championships next month has been prejudiced due to the suspension imposed on her for refusing to accept the medal after a controversial semifinal loss in the Asian Games at Incheon.
